Pine Lodge Home for Aged was an existing aged care facility, located in Rocklea QLD. The low-set existing facility had 41 fully furnished and serviced resident rooms. The proposed works consisted of the construction of two new infill buildings noted as Block F & G, to accommodate sixteen (16) new bedrooms. The proposed facility was a Class 9a building, with blocks connected to each other via breeze-way secure corridors. The proposed facility accommodates 57 fully furnished and serviced resident rooms. FCC presented options for review and the client opted for the installation of an automatic fire sprinkler system and other suitable measures.
