Fire Check Consultants were appointed to undertake an audit of the external wall cladding system installed at the motel building, namely ‘Circle on Cavill’ located at 9 Ferny Ave, Surfers Paradise, QLD. The intent of the inspection was to determine if the building had utilised external wall cladding material in a ‘non-compliant’ manner (if any), and to further identify any other conditions that could deteriorate into unsafe conditions. FCC used a Fire Risk Assessment tool “EFFECTTM”, an Exterior Facade Fire Evaluation Comparison Tool developed by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). FCC provided an External Wall Cladding Audit Report as well as a Fire Safety Audit Report of the building premises.
