Fire Check Consultants were engaged on behalf of Palm Lake Works to prepare a Performance-Based Design Brief and Fire Engineering Report to support the proposed Performance Solutions incorporated into a new Class 9b assembly building development. The proposed fire engineering solutions aimed to satisfy the NCC Performance Requirements by using assessment methods outlined in NCC 2019 Volume One, Clause A2.2(2) and analysis techniques specified in the Australian Fire Engineering Guidelines (AFEG). The key additions as part of the development include bowling, dance stage, bar, dining, lawn bowls, library, billiards, cinema, gym, pool, etc. All reported non-compliances with the NCC were resolved by providing robust solutions.
