Fire Check Consultants were appointed on behalf of Yarwun Alumina Refinery to investigate the most probable cause of fire occurrence in a machine known as the Kaeser Compressor in the industrial premises located at Yarwun Alumina Refinery. The Kaeser Compressor is a large electric-powered compressor. FCC relied upon fire patterns (the geometric shape and the effect of fire on the internal surface of the compressor housing) as the basis for determining the place where a fire started (origin). FCC investigated and provided the most likely cause of fire occurrence based on the available information.
