Fire Check Consultants provided Performance Solutions for non-compliances relating to the proposed redevelopment work for a Secondary Catholic Education High School. The building work was comprised of repurposing two existing structures, Block A and Block B, which were to be considered a united building. Block A had a basement and two upper levels and Block B was a single-storey on ground floor. Redevelopment work for the existing buildings were assessed under Section 112 of the Building Act 1975, transitional provisions. The fire safety evaluation presented in the report demonstrated that the building design is expected to reasonably provide safe means of egress, prevention and suppression of fire and prevention of fire spread.
