Fire Check Consultants were commissioned by the Chief Executive of the Department of Environment and Science to provide an expert opinion on the interim fire safety measures for Caboolture Recycling Facility located at 870-996 Pumicestone Road Caboolture QLD 4510. The site stored waste materials in external concrete and open stockpiles. FCC responded to the items required on-site with proposed interim measures urgently needed to address the imminent risks on the site. FCC proposed the extension of the timeline for implementing the interim measures. FCC on behalf of the Department of Environment and Science assisted the Honourable Court as an expert witness in relation to fire engineering and operational issues in this proceeding.
