Since 2001, Fire Check Consultants have been involved in the design, approval and construction process, helping to deliver fire safety compliance and certification for this development. This included preparing the fire engineering brief, fire engineering report, fire safety management plan and design of fire protection system. In 2018, FCC worked closely with Savills, and then Mainbrace Constructions, on the “Luxury Remix” for the existing Queens Plaza Shopping Centre. The upgrades included revising the existing void layout as well as the installation of a new cantilevered structure over the main entry of the Queen Street Mall, which serves as both a covering for the entry as well as an open-air seating area for the café located on level one.
