FCC conducted a fire safety audit on the compliance issues of the works carried out at the Longreach Hospital. The objective of this Fire Safety Audit was to provide an assessment of the smoke-proof wall that provides smoke compartmentalisation with regard to compliance with the National Construction Code Volume One. FCC recommended significant active and passive fire protection works for this building to comply with the Building Act and the NCC.
