Fire Check Consultants have been engaged to undertake a fire engineering assessment report of the proposed 19 storeys mixed-use building known as “Star Mountain Plaza Stage 2 (Hilton PNG)” at Wards Road, Port Moresby, Papa New Guinea (PNG). The intent of this Fire Engineering Report (FER) was to address the non-compliant issues with the Deemed-to-Satisfy (DtS) provisions of the NCC 2016 Volume One Amendment 1 (A1) as identified by the Regulatory Consultant. The formulated fire engineering solutions aim to satisfy the NCC Performance Requirements by using assessment methods outlined in NCC Clause A2.2(2) and analysis techniques specified in the International Fire Engineering Guidelines. During construction, FCC conducted regular inspections and provided feedback on several compliance issues.
