westfield-coomera

With the end of the calendar year fast approaching, we thought it might be nice to take a moment to reflect on some of the very exciting projects that FCC have worked on during the year. The projects listed below are some (but not all) of the innovating and exciting developments that FCC have had the pleasure of working with our clients on.

Zahra New Farm

Spyre Group’s premiere boutique apartments is a 5-storey luxury apartment complex in the heart of New Farm. FCC worked with the project architect Cottee Parker to ensure all levels of fire safety were met, while still encompassing the high level of finishes and luxury that comes with a Spyre Group Development.

19 Amos Lane, Fortitude Valley

WAC & Co approached FCC to assist in fire engineering commercial car spaces into a residential block without causing un realistic fire requirements. FCC were able to allow the development to progress under Type C construction.

Westfield Coomera

Westfield Coomera was a complete greenfield project that FCC had been working with Scentre Group on since mid-2014. The site consists of hundreds of smaller retail tenancies, a complete outdoor restaurant precinct, cinemas and multiple mini major and major retail stores. FCC were an integral part of the engineering process during both the design and construction phase.

Queens Plaza Luxury redux

FCC worked closely with Savills before being novated to Mainbrace Constructions on the “Luxury Remix” for the existing Queens Plaza Shopping centre. The upgrades included revising the existing void layout as well as the installation of a new cantilevered structure over the main entry to Queen St Mall that serves as both a covering for the entry as well as an open-air seating area for the café located on level one.

Gallery House (Portside Wharf)

Working once again with Brookefield Residential during the design phase and Multiplex during the construction phase FCC were able to provide fire engineering and assist in the completion of the first tower (Tower 16a) with traditional fire engineering as well as adhoc design and certification of fire rated elements that may not have complete testing in the configuration that its being installed on site.

The above projects are but a very small sample of all the complete range of services offered by FCC. If you have a project coming up, whether it be residential, commercial or industrial, please don’t hesitate to give us a call so that we can work through your design and assist in a favourable outcome.
